ORTLIEB Duffle Metrosphere 40 L

The Ortlieb Duffle Metrosphere 40 L is a travel bag built for riders and travellers who need reliable protection without unnecessary bulk. Made from structured textured nylon (PS33) in Ortlieb's German factory, it carries a IP67 waterproof rating — meaning it can be submerged up to 1 metre for 30 minutes with no water ingress. Whether you're cycling in the rain, catching a ferry or navigating unpredictable weather, your belongings stay dry. The TIZIP waterproof zipper provides a secure seal and can be locked with a TSA-approved padlock (not included), making it airport-ready. A side zip pocket with a personalised address card slot helps identify your bag quickly at baggage claim or on a bike rack. At just 770 g, the bag itself stays light so your 40 L of capacity goes to what matters. The integrated shoulder straps transform this duffel into a backpack, giving you hands-free carrying between legs of your journey. Its 53 × 31 × 22 cm dimensions make it eligible as a carry-on bag with many airlines, saving you checked-baggage fees. Backed by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty and produced to Ortlieb's long-standing quality standards, the Metrosphere 40 L is a dependable travel companion for daily bike commutes, weekend trips and longer adventures alike.
