ORTLIEB Duffle RC 49 L

The Ortlieb Duffle RC 49 L is a travel bag built for real-world conditions. Its PVC-coated polyester shell (PD620) resists abrasion and tears, while the roll-top closure — rolled a minimum of 3 to 4 times before clipping — delivers IP64 protection: fully dust-proof and shielded against water splashes from any direction. At 49 litres and measuring 61 × 32 × 34 cm, it holds a serious amount of kit while weighing just 1 kg empty. The usable height adjusts slightly depending on how many times you roll the closure, giving you a degree of flexibility on volume. The removable padded shoulder straps attach via velcro and come off in moments, letting you switch between backpack and duffel carry modes without tools. Four daisy chains — two on top, two on the bottom strap — make it easy to lash on extra gear or loop through tie-downs. Available in Olive, the Duffle RC is manufactured in Heilsbronn, Germany, and backed by a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects through authorised retailers. A dependable choice for bike touring, camping, or any trip where the weather has other plans.
