Description
The Ortlieb Frame-Pack Toptube 4 L is a bikepacking frame bag designed to sit along the top tube and seat tube of your bike. Its hook-and-loop straps are fully repositionable, making it straightforward to fit on most frame geometries – carbon frames included, though a protective film is recommended at contact points to avoid any surface marks.
At 4 litres (50 cm × 13 cm × 6 cm) with a maximum load of 3 kg, there's room for the essentials – phone, snacks, tools, documents – without adding bulk that interferes with your pedalling motion.
Waterproofing is a genuine strength here. The shell is made from PVC-free PU-laminated ripstop nylon, and the opening uses a TIZip waterproof zipper. Together they achieve an IP67 rating, meaning full dust protection and submersion resistance up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. That covers everything from drizzle to river crossings.
Ortlieb backs this bag with a 5-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects. Available in Dark Sand.
