Description
The ORTLIEB Rack-Pack Free 31 L is a rear-rack bag built for riders who need reliable weather protection and genuine versatility. Its 31-litre capacity (54 × 24 × 30 cm) is well suited for commuting, grocery runs or weekend travel.
The roll-top closure with an internal stiffener bar delivers IP64 protection — dust-tight and shielded from water spray from any direction. Unlike zip-sealed bags, the roll closure requires no maintenance or re-treatment to stay effective over time.
At 710 g, the bag is practical to carry off the bike thanks to its removable padded shoulder strap with carabiner-style clips. Compression straps reduce bulk when the bag isn't full, and dedicated loops allow it to be combined with ORTLIEB Back-Roller or Sport-Roller panniers on a rear rack.
The PU-coated polyester fabric is entirely PVC-free, in line with ORTLIEB's Free range. The bag is manufactured in Heilsbronn, Germany, and comes with a 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
