ORTLIEB Soulo 25 L

The Ortlieb Soulo 25 L is a 25-litre commuter backpack designed for daily use on the bike and in the city. Manufactured in Heilsbronn, Germany, it's built from PU-coated polyester (PS52) with no PVC — a more durable and environmentally considered material choice than standard vinyl-coated alternatives. The IP53 rating means the bag is protected against dust ingress and water spray from angles up to 60° from vertical. In practical terms: you can ride through a shower or set the bag down on a wet surface without worrying about what's inside. The padded laptop compartment (39 × 27 × 2.5 cm) fits most laptops up to 15 inches, and the integrated flat organiser keeps smaller essentials neatly sorted. The main compartment closes with a magnetic flap that conceals its locking mechanism from view — a subtle but effective deterrent against opportunistic theft. A front zip pocket offers quick access to your phone, keys or wallet, while the reinforced base protects against drops and rough handling. The TPU foam back panel with ventilation channels helps airflow during warmer rides, and the ergonomic shoulder straps with removable chest strap distribute weight evenly across loads up to 10 kg. The Soulo weighs 1,100 g and measures 47 × 36 × 18 cm. A 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship rounds out a solid daily companion.
