The Ortlieb Ultimate Urban 5 L is a handlebar bag built for everyday urban cycling. The magnetic closure opens with a single hand while you're on the move, and the transparent touchscreen-compatible top pocket lets you follow navigation or check your phone without ever removing it from the bag. Integrated ventilation slots in the top compartment help prevent electronics from overheating on warmer rides. Made in Germany (Heilsbronn) from a Cordura mix fabric with a PU inner coating and no PVC, the bag carries an IP54 rating — meaning it handles rain splashes and spray from all directions without issue. A zipped inner pocket with a key clip keeps smaller essentials organised, while the 3M Scotchlite reflector adds a layer of visibility when light is low. At 460 g and measuring 13.5 × 24 × 13 cm, the Ultimate Urban holds up to 5 kg and mounts to handlebars up to 31.8 mm in diameter using the Ortlieb Handlebar Mounting Set (sold separately). The removable shoulder strap means it doubles as a shoulder bag once you're off the bike — no need for a separate bag for your errands.
