Description
The Ortlieb Up-Town 17.5 L is a front handlebar basket designed for everyday city riding. Its 17.5-litre interior (28 × 33 × 22 cm) handles a supermarket run, a work bag or a laptop without asking you to carry anything on your back.
A rigid aluminium frame keeps the bag open and easy to access, while a zippered inner pocket keeps smaller items — keys, wallet, phone — organised and within reach. The adjustable carrying handle means you can take the bag with you just like a regular tote once you step off the bike.
The PU-coated nylon shell, free from PVC, provides solid weather resistance for everyday conditions. A 3M Scotchlite reflector adds a layer of visibility in traffic, and the four ground feet let the bag stand upright on its own when set down. Maximum load is 5 kg; the bag itself weighs 790 g.
The included flat adapter plate attaches to your handlebars; the handlebar mounting kit is sold separately in four versions to suit different bar types. Five-year warranty, made in Germany.
