The Ortlieb Vario QL2.1 is built for people who ride to work, run errands or combine cycling with public transport — and don't want the hassle of switching bags. It mounts securely to your rear rack via the Quick-Lock 2.1 system and converts into a backpack the moment you step off your bike, thanks to its padded back panel, adjustable shoulder straps and chest strap. At 26 litres, it's large enough for a 14" laptop (in its dedicated padded compartment), work clothes, and daily shopping. The waterproof roll closure — made from PU-coated nylon (PS33) — seals out rain without relying on exposed zips. An external zip pocket and a side mesh pocket add easy-access storage for smaller items. Made in Germany and free from PVC, the Vario handles loads up to 9 kg and measures 47 × 31 × 22 cm at a weight of 1,550 g. Reflective elements on the straps and sides keep you visible in low light, whether you're on the bike or on foot.
