The Ortlieb Vario QL3.1 26 L is a pannier that converts into a backpack without any fuss. The Quick-Lock 3.1 system clips onto your rear rack with a single motion and releases just as easily. When you arrive, unfold the padded back panel and ergonomic shoulder straps — complete with a chest strap — and carry it like a regular backpack. With 26 litres of capacity (31 × 20 × 48 cm), there's room for a full day's load: a laptop up to 14 inches in the dedicated padded sleeve, everyday essentials in the zippered lid pocket, and plenty of space in the main roll-top compartment. The waterproof roll closure delivers IP64 protection, meaning your belongings stay completely dry and dust-free as long as you roll it closed at least 3–4 times. The bag is made from PU-coated nylon, a material Ortlieb has refined over decades for durability and low weight.
