ORTLIEB Velo-Sling Flex 5 L

The Ortlieb Velo-Sling Flex 5 L is a handlebar bag designed for riders who need their gear to work as hard off the bike as on it. It attaches to the handlebars via the Bar-Lock system (mount sold separately, compatible with ORTLIEB and Rixen & Kaul), and detaches in seconds to become a shoulder bag thanks to its removable wide 3-point strap. The magnetic snap roll-top closure lets you open and close the bag with one hand — useful when you need quick access without pulling over. The PU-coated nylon (PS33) shell carries an IP64 rating, meaning it resists dust completely and handles water spray from any direction. That covers rain, puddle splash and muddy tracks — though it is not designed for submersion. At 350 g with a 5-litre capacity and 5 kg maximum load, it strikes a practical balance between space and weight. Inside, a removable organiser pouch offers two mesh pockets and a zipped compartment to keep smaller items sorted. External daisy chains with included straps let you attach a jacket or compress bulkier loads.
