Description
The Ortlieb Velocity 17 L is a commuter backpack built to handle whatever the weather throws at it. The roll-top closure combined with PU-coated fabric delivers IP64 waterproofing, meaning the bag shrugs off driving rain and water splashes from all directions. At 810 g empty and rated for up to 10 kg of load, it strikes a practical balance between durability and everyday comfort.
Inside, a dedicated padded laptop sleeve (36 × 24.5 cm) cushions your computer against bumps in the road. The reinforced base with quadrapod support feet means the bag stands upright on its own — handy at the office or a café stop. Detachable chest and hip straps keep the load stable when you're carrying a full pack.
Reflective details and a built-in attachment point for an optional rear light make you more visible to drivers in low-light conditions. The Velocity 17 L is made in Germany (Heilsbronn) and comes with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Dimensions: 45 × 28 × 14 cm, available in Petrol / Black.
