ORTLIEB Velocity 23 L

The Ortlieb Velocity 23 L is a messenger-style backpack designed for cyclists who need reliable protection for their belongings on every ride. Its IP64 waterproof rating — achieved by rolling the top closure three to four times — shields against water spray from any direction and total dust ingress. The main compartment offers 23 litres of space (50 × 30 × 16 cm) with a zippered opening for quick access. Inside, a dedicated padded sleeve accommodates laptops up to 15.4", keeping them cushioned throughout your commute. The rigid base with four quadrapod feet and reinforced rear corners means the bag stands securely on the ground and resists the knocks of daily use. A ventilated foam back panel provides comfort during longer rides, while the removable chest and hip belts let you adjust the fit to your pace and load. For safety, reflective thread on the shoulder straps increases your visibility after dark or in overcast conditions. An attachment point on the closure accommodates a rear light or helmet. Maximum recommended load is 10 kg; the bag itself weighs 880 g. Manufactured in Heilsbronn, Germany, it comes backed by Ortlieb's official repair service, including Velcro replacement.
