Description
The Ortlieb Velocity 23 L is a messenger-style backpack built around one idea: everything inside stays dry. The roll-top closure with velcro seal and IP64 rating (dust-proof, splash-proof from all directions) mean you can ride through showers without thinking twice — no rain cover to dig out, no damp laptop on arrival.
The padded internal sleeve fits laptops up to 15.4 inches (36 × 24.5 cm), and the 23-litre main compartment handles a full day's load up to 10 kg. The reinforced base with quadrapod feet keeps the bag upright when you set it down — a small detail that matters every day.
Carrying comfort comes from a foam-panelled back for airflow, plus padded shoulder straps with removable chest and waist straps that let you dial in the fit. An integrated attachment point takes an optional rear light or a helmet.
Produced in Heilsbronn, Germany, from PVC-free PU-coated polyester, the Velocity 23 L is designed to go the distance: the velcro can be renewed by Ortlieb, and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty covers any production defects.
