ORTLIEB Velocity 23 L TS

The Ortlieb Velocity 23 L TS is a commuter backpack designed for cyclists who ride regardless of the weather. Its IP64 rating means it actively resists water spray and dust — practical protection for daily use, whether you're caught in a shower or cycling on an unpaved path. The main body is made from PVC-coated polyester, a material chosen for its durability and water resistance rather than lightweight performance. The roll-top closure with Velcro hook-and-loop takes seconds to secure and creates a reliable seal without any zips. Inside, a dedicated padded sleeve (36 × 24.5 × 2.5 cm) protects laptops up to 15.4" from bumps and vibrations. A large zipped internal pocket adds another layer of organisation for smaller items. The padded back panel with dorsal ventilation channels helps reduce heat build-up during your commute. The ergonomic shoulder straps, chest strap and detachable waist belt keep the load stable even when the bag is packed to its 10 kg limit. Reinforced anti-abrasion corner protectors at the base and a carry handle round out the thoughtful design. At 880 g and 50 × 30 × 16 cm, it fits a full day's worth of gear without weighing you down before you've even set off.
