ORTLIEB Velocity 29 L

The Ortlieb Velocity 29 L is a messenger-style backpack built for cyclists who commute in all conditions. Its 29-litre volume and 10 kg maximum load capacity make it equally suited to daily commuting and longer trips with more to carry. The roll-top closure with velcro and an IP64 protection rating mean the bag resists water splashes and dust without any extra cover. The shell is made from PD620 / PS620C fabric — PU-coated polyester — chosen for durability under daily use. A reinforced base with quadrapod feet lets you set the bag down on the ground without wearing it out. Inside, a removable organiser houses a padded laptop sleeve (36 × 24.5 cm) to keep your computer protected on the move. An external zip pocket — exclusive to the 29 L version — gives quick access to your essentials without opening the main compartment. The back panel includes an attachment point for an optional rear light or helmet. Detachable chest and hip belts stabilise the pack while riding and can be removed when you're walking. Assembled in Germany, the Velocity 29 L is designed with longevity in mind: components are replaceable, and worn velcro can be renewed directly by Ortlieb.
