The Ortlieb Velocity PS 17 L is a waterproof daypack designed for cyclists who commute in all weathers. The shell is made from PS33 nylon with a polyurethane coating, and the roll-top closure secured with velcro creates a fully sealed compartment — rain simply cannot get in. Dimensions are 45 × 28 × 14 cm with a 17-litre capacity suited to daily use. Inside, a padded laptop sleeve fits your notebook and cushions against road vibrations. The removable hip belt and ergonomic shoulder straps distribute loads and keep the bag stable during the ride. The ventilated foam back panel reduces heat build-up between your back and the bag. Thoughtful details include reinforced corner protectors on the lower edges for abrasion resistance, an integrated velcro mount for a rear light or helmet, and a top carry handle. At 730 g, it is light enough not to add unnecessary weight to your commute. The Velocity PS is made in Germany and every component can be replaced through Ortlieb's repair service.
