ORTLIEB Velocity PS 23 L

The Ortlieb Velocity PS 23 L is a cycling backpack built for commuters and everyday riders who need reliable weather protection without compromising on carrying capacity. Measuring 50 x 30 x 16 cm with a 23-litre volume, it holds everything you need for a full workday while keeping a manageable profile on your back. The roll-top closure with Velcro achieves an IP64 protection rating when rolled 3–4 times, shielding your gear from water splashes and dust. Inside, a padded laptop sleeve — anchored at both top and bottom to absorb shocks — accommodates laptops up to 15.4 inches. The main compartment fits DIN A4 folders and binders without folding them. A ventilated foam back panel and ergonomic shoulder straps distribute loads up to 10 kg comfortably over longer rides. The chest strap and hip belt are both adjustable and removable when not needed. Lower rear corners are reinforced against abrasion, and a Velcro attachment point lets you mount a rear light or helmet (not included). Made from PU-coated nylon (PS33), PVC-free, at Ortlieb's factory in Heilsbronn, Germany — and backed by a 5-year warranty.
