ORTLIEB X-Tremer 113 L

The Ortlieb X-Tremer 113 L is a large-volume cylindrical dry bag designed for expeditions where gear protection is non-negotiable. The roll-down closure — sealed with side snap buckles after rolling several times — delivers IP64 waterproofing, shielding your equipment from water spray from any direction as well as dust. There is no zipper to wear out or let moisture in. The outer shell uses PD620 and PS620C fabrics (PVC-coated polyester and PVC-coated Cordura), combining abrasion resistance with flexibility. Three integrated D-rings let you lash the bag to a vehicle, boat or pack animal, and accept a padlock for basic security. The welded attachment points are tested to 500 kg, making them suitable for demanding transport scenarios well beyond backpacking. When you do carry it on your back, the padded anatomical shoulder straps and removable chest strap distribute the load effectively. At 1,150 g for 113 litres of capacity, the weight-to-volume ratio is reasonable for a bag of this robustness. Dimensions when closed: 92 cm tall, 39 cm in diameter.
