ORTLIEB X-Tremer 59 L

The Ortlieb X-Tremer 59 L is a barrel-style drybag designed for those who need serious volume and uncompromising weather protection in a single package. At 59 litres, it comfortably holds expedition gear, clothing and bulky equipment, while its cylindrical shape — 70 cm tall and 31 cm in diameter when closed — keeps it manageable to carry and stow. The roll-down closure with snap buckles creates a fully sealed compartment, backed by IP64 certification for resistance to both water jets and dust. The body is made from PD620 (double-sided PVC-coated polyester) with PS620C / PS490 (PVC-coated polyamide) reinforcements — materials chosen for long-term abrasion and moisture resistance. Three integrated D-rings allow the bag to be lashed to a bike, vehicle or luggage rack, and welded suspension points are tested to 500 kg tear load. A padlock can be added through the D-rings for added security. The bag works equally well as a protective cover for other luggage or as a standalone expedition backpack. Manufactured in Heilsbronn, Germany, the X-Tremer comes with a 5-year warranty covering materials and workmanship. Padded anatomical shoulder straps and a removable chest strap distribute the load evenly for extended carries.
