Description
The Shimano SH-RX710 is a gravel racing shoe built for riders who push hard on mixed terrain, whether that's packed gravel, forest tracks or tarmac connectors. The carbon-reinforced midsole with a low stack height positions your foot close to the pedal axle, translating more of your effort into forward motion with less energy lost between each pedal stroke.
The dual BOA L6Z closure system features two independent dials — one for the forefoot, one for the midfoot. You can dial in exactly the tension you need in each zone and adjust on the fly without breaking your rhythm. The seamless synthetic leather upper reduces friction points, and the perforations across the toe box and midfoot keep air circulating during sustained efforts.
Compatibility with the Shimano Pontoon Cleat System (2-bolt SPD interface) provides a degree of float through a floating plate and rubber side blocks, reducing knee strain on longer rides. The DYNALAST 2.0 last is available in standard, wide and narrow widths, with sizing from 36 to 50, so you're not forcing your foot into a one-size-fits-all shape.
At 315 g per shoe (size 43, manufacturer figure), the SH-RX710 is a capable daily gravel shoe available in black, navy and sand white.
