The Shimano SH-XC503 is a cross-country MTB shoe designed for riders who want dependable performance on trails and mixed terrain. The midsole is built from partially recycled carbon fibre-reinforced nylon, delivering solid power transfer with a stiffness index of 7/12 — efficient enough for sustained pedalling efforts while still allowing comfortable walking on technical sections.

The BOA® Fit System with L6C dial lets you dial in a precise, even fit in seconds — no laces to tie or straps to fiddle with mid-ride. The perforated synthetic leather upper wraps securely around the foot while allowing airflow during hard efforts. The Shimano ULTREAD XC rubber outsole provides reliable grip across different surfaces, and the adjustable lugs — with an optional 18 mm toe cleat — can be tuned to suit your terrain.

These shoes are compatible with SPD 2-bolt cleat systems, making them easy to pair with most MTB pedals on the market. The Shimano DYNALAST last follows the natural curve of the foot in motion, promoting a smoother pedal stroke and reducing fatigue over longer rides. Approximately 19% of materials used are recycled, including in the toe area and midsole. Available in sizes 38 to 50.
