Description
Switching from the Atlas X29 wheelset to the X27.5 on your Orox is a deliberate trade: road agility for off-road traction.
At 27.5 inches with tyres up to 4.0", ground contact increases markedly on loose terrain. In practice: climbs and descents tackled with more confidence, and calmer progress through gravel and snow.
The wheel is tested to carry 130 kg per wheel.
It relies on custom Atlas hubs, a double-walled aluminium Atlas X rim and 13G stainless spokes. It is tubeless-ready, allowing lower pressures — and therefore even more grip.
Integrated disc cooling fins deliver consistent braking on long descents.
ETRTO 70-584, aluminium, 1.86 kg. Pairs with the Fenders X27.5.
⚠️ When running tubeless, ensure sufficient tyre pressure while carrying cargo.
