Description

The Tern Shortbed Tray is a heavy-duty rear cargo platform designed for Tern cargo bikes. It handles up to 35 kg and offers a loading volume of up to 80 litres, making it a practical choice whether you're running errands, commuting with gear, or making local deliveries. The interior dimensions of 425 × 607 × 60 mm are sized to accept standard 600 × 400 mm Eurocrates — the plastic crates widely used in catering, retail and logistics. The tray includes a dedicated opening for battery access, so you don't need to remove your cargo every time you want to charge up. It's also compatible with vertical bike storage, which helps when space is tight at home or in a shared lock-up. The Shortbed Tray fits Tern GSD, HSD, Quick Haul and Short Haul models. On the GSD it can be mounted perpendicular or parallel to the bike; on other compatible models, perpendicular mounting only. Two Tern SideStrap bungee cords and all mounting hardware are included.
