Description

The Tern Sidekick Handle is a passenger grab handle designed for the rear rack of Tern GSD and HSD cargo bikes. It attaches directly to the rack using hook-and-loop (velcro-style) straps, making installation and removal completely tool-free.

Built from aluminium and wrapped with pre-cut bar tape included in the box, the handle provides a comfortable, non-slip grip in all weather conditions. At approximately 178 × 143 × 170 mm, it stays compact and out of the way without interfering with cargo or other accessories.

Beyond keeping your passenger secure, the Sidekick Handle also works as a carrying handle to lift the rear of the bike over a kerb or step — a practical bonus for everyday urban use. It is part of the Tern Passenger System, a range of accessories designed to make carrying passengers safe and comfortable.

Compatibility note: designed for the rear rack of Tern GSD and HSD models. Not suitable for use with suspension seatposts.
