Description
The Sidekick Wide Decks extend the GSD Gen 2's integrated lower decks out to 12 cm. Passengers gain foot space; riders gain peace of mind when carrying kids.
Each deck supports 35 kg, or 70 kg in total: room for a toolbox or a cooler. And because they keep the load low to the ground, the bike stays manageable and stable even heavily laden.
They also give extra support to fully loaded Cargo Hold 37 and 52 panniers, reducing strain on them. Slotted openings make it easy to strap in heavy or unwieldy cargo, and combined with the Captain's Chair or Clubhouse+ they let you carry long items vertically — fishing poles, gardening tools.
A maintenance detail: a cutout in the left side deck lets you remove the thru axle without disassembly.
Corrosion-resistant aluminium, easy to install. 538 × 161 × 35 mm, 1.36 kg.
