Description
The Syntace® VRO 47 is an adjustable stem that Tern specifies alongside its own Andros stem for reconfiguring the cockpit of its bikes.
Its main appeal is compatibility with Valo lighting: Tern states that the Valo (hub dynamo) requires an Andros or Syntace® VRO stem, and that the Valo Direct (battery powered) sits inside the Andros or VRO-47 stems — a position that protects the light from knocks, folding and theft.
So this is the part to plan for if you want Valo lighting integrated into the cockpit while keeping an adjustable stem.
