Description

The Thule Epos 2-bike is a towbar bike rack built around one idea: less time strapping bikes down, more time riding them. Its patented telescopic arms, with a pivoting cradle and steel-reinforced straps, attach wherever your bike allows — anywhere on the frame, or straight onto the rear wheel. Awkward frames, mudguards and racks stop being a problem, and you can load and unload the bikes in any order.

A 60 kg load capacity, or up to 30 kg per bike, means two e-bikes go on without a second thought. The 25 cm spacing between positions keeps the bikes from knocking into each other en route, and extra-long wheel holders take wheelbases up to 1350 mm. Ratcheting pump buckles secure tyres up to 3" (up to 5" with the separately sold Thule XXL Fatbike Wheel Straps), on wheels up to 29".

Day to day, the rack mounts quickly thanks to the self-stabilising coupling, and a foot-pedal tilt opens up boot access even with the bikes loaded. The carrier folds fully flat — 69 x 27 x 73 cm folded, at 17.3 kg — and integrated carrying handles make storage easier. Locks are included: your bikes lock to the carrier, and the carrier locks to the car.

13-pin connector, carbon frame compatible, One Key System compatible, fits frame dimensions from 20 to 90 mm. The Thule Epos won the iF Design Award 2024 and the Red Dot Award 2024. Made in Poland, black.
