Description

The Tire-Velo Traction System V3 lets an adult cyclist tow a child's bike using a 3-metre high-resistance elastic cord. The cord stretches to smooth out speed changes between the two riders, keeping the connection feeling natural and preventing sudden jerks that could cause a fall.

On the towing bike, two straps wrap around the seatpost (compatible with diameters from 25.4 mm to 31.8 mm) — no tools required. On the child's bike, a double hook clips onto the handlebars (stem width under 50 mm) and is simple enough for the child to attach themselves. Full setup takes under a minute.

The whole system weighs 280 g and packs away into a spring-loaded winding case that fits easily in a bag. The box includes the winding case, two seatpost straps, the 3 m elastic cord and the handlebar hook. Maximum recommended load: 90 kg (child's bike and rider combined).
