The Brompton C Line e-Motiq SuperRoll+ is an electric folding bike built around one idea: making every part of your commute — riding, folding and moving the bike — as effortless as possible. The e-Motiq system uses a 250 W rear hub motor paired with a torque sensor, which means the assistance reacts to how hard you're pedalling rather than just your speed. The result is a ride that feels responsive and natural across all three assistance modes.
The 345 Wh battery clips off in a single movement for charging separately or storing indoors. Depending on your route and chosen assistance level, it delivers up to 90 km of range. The Brompton e-Motiq Handlebar Control lets you switch modes, activate the start assist feature and monitor remaining range on the go — software updates are delivered wirelessly over the air.
When folded, the SuperRoll+ system comes into its own: four integrated frame rollers let you pull the bike behind you like luggage (Suitcase mode) or push it ahead of you (Shopper mode). No carrying, no awkward lifting on stairs. The frame itself is made from precision-drawn, heat-treated steel tubing, assembled by hand using traditional brazing — a method that produces a frame that's both light and exceptionally durable.
The 4-speed Brompton drivetrain spans a 163% gear range, enough to handle city gradients and maintain pace on longer flat sections. The 16-inch wheels keep the folded package compact without compromising stability when riding.
