Brompton New G Line Electric

The Brompton Electric G Line in Lake Grey is the electric version of the G Line, the Brompton with 20-inch wheels designed for the city and beyond. Brompton engineered the bike and its e-Motiq electric system as one: the frame geometry is comparable to a full-size bike, yet it folds in under 20 seconds into a compact, locked package of 402 × 690 × 730 mm that goes on trains, travels in car boots and stores in small spaces.

Developed in the UK, the e-Motiq system pairs a 250 W rear motor with a 345 Wh battery with LED display, fully charged in 4 hours with the included 2A charger. It rides in the G Line essential battery bag on the front carrier block, which also gives you 1.5 litres of storage. The handlebar display offers Adaptive Range Estimation and Start Assist, and the Brompton Electric app (iOS and Android) brings over-the-air updates and new features.

The Brompton 4-speed drivetrain (50T chainset, 11-13-15-18 tooth sprockets) is operated by Microshift shifters. Puncture-resistant Schwalbe G-One All Round 54-406 tyres with tan walls and hydraulic disc brakes keep you confident on tarmac and trails alike.

It comes ready to ride: full-length G Line mudguards, the Roller Frame with rack and extra wheels so the folded bike rolls smoothly, 9 W integrated lighting, Wide Platform quick-release pedals and a large front carrier block for all types of Brompton luggage. The main frame is hand-brazed steel, the aluminium fork has mounting bosses and the bike is UL-certified. The three sizes (S, M, L) differ by seatpost: standard, extended or telescopic.
