Description
The Cube Acid 200 is a kids' bike built for the first real rides beyond the immediate neighbourhood. With 20-inch wheels and an Aluminium Lite 6061 frame, it balances low weight (9.2 kg) with durability — both essential for a bike that takes knocks and that the child must be able to handle alone.
The 7-speed drivetrain — a Shimano RD-TY300 derailleur, an SL-RS45 Revo Shift twist grip and a Sunrace 13-34T freewheel — makes it easy to match the pedalling to the terrain: a low gear for a climb, a higher one for speed on the flat. The twist shifter is particularly intuitive: just rotate the grip to change gear.
Alloy V-Brakes deliver firm, predictable stopping power, well suited to young riders learning to modulate their braking. The Prowheel A105 32T crankset comes with a chainguard, and an ACID bell is fitted as standard. The rigid Hi-Ten steel fork rounds out a simple, hard-wearing package.
Available in molotov'n'pink, in a single size. Cube recommends it for children between 111 and 124 cm, with a maximum rider weight of 30 kg.
