Description
The Cube Acid 240 Disc is a 24-inch kids' bike built for children who are ready to move beyond beginner territory and ride on a wider range of surfaces — from school runs to gravel paths and light trails. The Aluminium Lite 6061 frame keeps the bike light at 11.8 kg, which makes a real difference when kids are handling it themselves.
The standout feature for safety is the Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brake system, with 160 mm rotors front and rear. Hydraulic brakes respond to very light finger pressure, making them far easier for small hands to operate than cable-actuated alternatives — and far more reliable in wet conditions.
The Shimano RD-M3020 8-speed rear derailleur gives young riders real control over their effort, letting them shift to an easier gear on climbs rather than grinding or giving up. The SR Suntour SF20 XCT JR fork provides 50 mm of travel to absorb the kind of bumps kids encounter on paths and gravel tracks, keeping the ride comfortable and in control. The ACID 32T crankset comes with a chainguard.
Recommended for riders between 118 and 136 cm tall (inseam 52–63 cm), with a maximum rider weight of 65 kg. The Acid 240 Disc comes in a sharp lizard'n'blue colourway that looks the part without being overly juvenile.
