Description

The Cube Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie Pro 400X is a dedicated electric mountain bike built for children between 124 and 141 cm tall. The Bosch Performance Line SX motor (55 Nm, up to 20 km/h assist) provides just enough support for younger riders to keep pace with adults on mixed terrain without relying on the motor to do all the work.

Power comes from a fully integrated 400 Wh Bosch battery housed within the Superlite aluminium frame. For longer rides, it's compatible with the Bosch PowerMore 250 Wh range extender, bringing total capacity to 650 Wh. The 24" ACID ZX20 Tubeless Ready wheels and SR Suntour XCT DS fork (80 mm travel) handle trail bumps comfortably, while Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes (160/180 mm rotors) provide reliable, progressive braking even in wet conditions.

Shifting is handled by a clean Shimano Cues 1x9 drivetrain — one chainring, nine gears, easy to learn. Cube's Agile Ride Geometry puts young riders in a balanced, confident position, reinforced by kid-scaled components including a 19 mm diameter handlebar and shorter cranks. The frame is dropper post-ready and features SIC 2.0 mounting points for mudguards or a rack.
