Description
The Cube Aerium C:68X Race is a dedicated time-trial and triathlon bike for competitors who refuse to compromise on aerodynamics. Its C:68X monocoque carbon frame, built using Advanced Twin Mold Technology with a Twin Head Tube and fully internal cable routing, was developed in a wind tunnel and validated in real race conditions alongside world champion triathlete Lucy Charles-Barclay. The CUBE Aerium hydration and storage systems are integrated directly into the frame — no external bottles, no bolt-on boxes.
Shifting is handled by a Shimano Di2 12-speed electronic drivetrain: Dura Ace Di2 ST-R9180 brake-shift levers and SW-R9160 TT bar-end extensions at the top of the range, paired with an Ultegra Di2 RD-R8150-DGS rear derailleur and an Ultegra CS-R8101 11-34T cassette. The Shimano Ultegra FC-R8100 Hollowtech II crankset comes with a 4iiii Precision 3+ dual-sided power meter factory-installed — so you can race with full power data from the very first pedal stroke.
The Newmen Streem S.60/TT.80 carbon wheelset (60 and 80 mm profiles, tubeless ready, centerlock) is paired with Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT TR tyres in 28 mm — a benchmark for low rolling resistance in competition. Braking is provided by Shimano Dura Ace BR-R9270 hydraulic flat-mount disc brakes with 140 mm rotors. The CUBE Aerium C:68X cockpit uses Profile Design 43 ASC carbon extensions and comes in two stack heights by size (low for XS-S, high for M-L) to put you in a proper TT position without spacer stacking.
With a 78° seat angle, 410 mm chainstays across all sizes, and a total weight of 10.1 kg, the Aerium C:68X Race is a complete, competition-ready machine for experienced cyclists and triathletes who want to cross the line faster.
