The Cube Editor Hybrid SLX 400X FE is a fully equipped electric city bike designed for daily use. The Efficient Comfort geometry of the Superlite aluminium frame keeps you in an upright, relaxed position whether you're covering a short hop or a longer commute. Fully internal cable routing keeps the bike looking clean and shields components from the elements.

Power comes from the compact Bosch Performance SX motor (60 Nm), which delivers smooth, natural-feeling assistance without adding bulk. The Bosch CompactTube 400 Wh battery is integrated into the down tube and provides comfortable range for multiple days of city riding. The Bosch System Control with Mini Remote is built into the top tube and operated with a thumb — no need to take your hands off the bars.

What sets this bike apart is its Enviolo continuously variable hub paired with a Gates Carbon Drive belt. There's no chain to lube, no derailleur to adjust, and no skipping gears under load. The Enviolo hub even lets you shift while stationary — handy at traffic lights. The result is a drivetrain that genuinely looks after itself for years.

As a Full Equipment (FE) model, the bike ships with a rear rack, full mudguards, integrated front and rear lighting, and a kickstand — everything you need for practical daily use. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors ensure strong, progressive stopping power in wet and dry conditions alike. The CUBE Full Carbon fork trims weight from the front end and smooths out road buzz, while wide Schwalbe Big Apple tyres add comfort and grip on varied urban surfaces.

With 60 Nm of torque and a featherweight, it is discreet where others are essential - for a driving experience that remains above all natural, agile and pleasant. Designed for the thinnest frames and sportiest geometries, the SX is aimed at cyclists who want the electric boost without sacrificing the lightness or feel of the traditional bike. The assistance is lively and precise, perfectly dosed to enhance your pedaling without ever replacing it.

Bosch Compacttube 400 Wh

Lightness above all. The Bosch CompactTube 400 Wh is the battery designed for bicycles where every gram counts. With 400 Wh of capacity in a deliberately compact format, it is aimed at cyclists who favor the agility and maneuverability of a light bike, without giving up electric assistance on a daily basis. Its reduced format allows discreet integration into thinner frames and sportier geometries - where a standard PowerTube could not find its place. Ideal for urban outings and short to medium distance journeys, it offers most of the autonomy in the most compact format in the Bosch range.
