Description

The Cube Editor Hybrid SLX 400X FE is a fully equipped electric city bike designed for daily use. The Efficient Comfort geometry of the Superlite aluminium frame keeps you in an upright, relaxed position whether you're covering a short hop or a longer commute. Fully internal cable routing keeps the bike looking clean and shields components from the elements.

Power comes from the compact Bosch Performance SX motor (60 Nm), which delivers smooth, natural-feeling assistance without adding bulk. The Bosch CompactTube 400 Wh battery is integrated into the down tube and provides comfortable range for multiple days of city riding. The Bosch System Control with Mini Remote is built into the top tube and operated with a thumb — no need to take your hands off the bars.

What sets this bike apart is its Enviolo continuously variable hub paired with a Gates Carbon Drive belt. There's no chain to lube, no derailleur to adjust, and no skipping gears under load. The Enviolo hub even lets you shift while stationary — handy at traffic lights. The result is a drivetrain that genuinely looks after itself for years.

As a Full Equipment (FE) model, the bike ships with a rear rack, full mudguards, integrated front and rear lighting, and a kickstand — everything you need for practical daily use. Its reduced format allows discreet integration into thinner frames and sportier geometries - where a standard PowerTube could not find its place.
