The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid 45 800 is a speed pedelec built to cover serious distances at serious speed. The fifth-generation Bosch Performance Line Speed motor produces 100 Nm of torque and sustains electric assistance all the way to 45 km/h — making it legally equivalent to a moped in most European countries (registration and helmet required), while remaining far more practical than a scooter for urban and suburban commuting.
The Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery sits fully integrated inside the Superlite aluminium frame, keeping the bike's profile clean and its centre of gravity low. Ride data is displayed on the Bosch Kiox 500 screen. The SR Suntour Mobie 36 Air 2CR suspension fork smooths out road imperfections, reducing fatigue on longer rides.
The Shimano XT 11-speed groupset with LinkGlide technology is purpose-built for high-torque e-bikes: gear changes stay crisp even when pedalling hard, and the drivetrain is engineered to outlast conventional setups by a wide margin. Safety at speed is handled by Magura Gustav Elite ABS brakes with 203 mm rotors front and rear — the anti-lock system prevents skidding and keeps you in control in wet or emergency conditions.
