The Cube Phenix C:62 Rookie SLX is a cross-country hardtail MTB built for junior riders who want genuine performance rather than a scaled-down adult bike. The C:62 monocoque carbon frame, shaped using Advanced Twin Mold Technology, keeps weight low while providing the stiffness needed for efficient pedalling on climbs and precise handling on technical trails. Full internal cable routing keeps things clean and protected.
The SR Suntour Raidon 32 Air fork offers 100 mm of travel with a handlebar-mounted remote lockout — a genuinely useful feature that lets riders lock out the suspension for seated climbs and open it back up the moment the trail turns rough. Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors front and rear deliver confident stopping power with good feel at the lever, even in wet conditions.
The SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission 1x12 (10-52T cassette) drivetrain removes the complexity of a front derailleur while still offering a wide spread of gears. Paired with Newmen Performance 30 wheels and Schwalbe Racing Ray (front) and Racing Ralph (rear) 2.25" tyres, the result is a fast-rolling, well-gripping setup that suits both race day and weekend trail riding.
The frame is dropper post ready and features UDH™ compatibility for future-proofing. Available in XS and S, the Phenix C:62 Rookie SLX is a serious starting point for any junior looking to ride with purpose.
