Description
The Cube Reaction 240 TM is a 24-inch trail bike aimed at kids roughly 118–136 cm tall who want to explore beyond tarmac. Rather than cutting corners on components, Cube has spec'd parts more commonly found on entry-level adult mountain bikes.
The Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes — 4-piston front, 2-piston rear, with 180/160 mm rotors — give precise, proportional braking that requires very little hand strength. This matters for kids, who can stop confidently without squeezing hard. The Shimano Cues 9-speed drivetrain (RD-U4000-GS rear derailleur, Rapidfire-Plus shifters, CS-LG300 11-46T cassette) provides a wide gear range that makes hills manageable and flat sections fast.
The SR Suntour Raidon34 fork (80 mm travel) absorbs bumps from roots and rocks, reducing fatigue on the wrists and shoulders during longer rides. Newmen Evolution X.A.25 tubeless-ready wheels paired with Schwalbe Rocket Ron Kevlar 2.1" tyres offer reliable traction across loose and mixed surfaces. The heat-treated 6061 aluminium frame keeps total weight at 10.5 kg — light enough to stay in control.
Finished in goldenlime'n'black, the Reaction 240 TM accommodates riders up to 65 kg (80 kg total system weight). One size, built to grow with your child across multiple riding seasons.
