Description

The Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 800 is a hardtail electric mountain bike with an open frame — Cube calls it Easy Entry, and the name says exactly what it does. You step through instead of swinging a leg over, and you can put a foot down without coming off the saddle. It's a genuine e-MTB, but one that doesn't fight you at every stop.

The Bosch Performance Line CX motor (120 Nm) gives you the drive to take on a forest climb without overthinking gear choice, while the Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery, fully integrated into the down tube, covers several rides between charges. The system is PowerMore-ready: up to 250 Wh of extra capacity when the day looks long. The compact Bosch Purion 200 display sits flush on the bar and shows what matters without pulling your eyes off the trail.

On the chassis side, the RockShox Recon Silver RL Air fork delivers 100 mm of air-adjustable travel, and Schwalbe Smart Sam 2.6" tyres on tubeless-ready ACID SLX 30 rims bring the volume and grip you want on damp singletrack. The Shimano XT RD-M8200 12-speed drivetrain with a Deore 10-51T cassette covers the full usable range, while Shimano BR-MT420 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes on 203/203 mm rotors stop the bike with real authority, sustained descents included.

A dropper post with a handlebar lever lets you drop the saddle before a technical section and raise it again to pedal. The Superlite aluminium frame routes cables internally and carries mounts for mudguards, rack and kickstand, plus the X-Connect system for tool-free lighting. Shimano XT RD-M8200-SGS, 12-Speed

The new-generation XT, built to take a hit. The Shimano Deore XT RD-M8200-SGS is the mechanical 12-speed rear derailleur of the redesigned XT groupset: the same shifting precision Shimano puts in its top tier, in an architecture designed from the outset for impacts, mud and the torque of an electric motor. Its headline change is Shadow ES — a slimmer, stronger evolution of the Shadow system, with a wider link structure that keeps the chain settled over rough ground. The body uses a wedge-shaped profile designed to move out of the way and absorb the blow when the derailleur catches a root or a rock, instead of bending. The pulleys and cage are shielded to stop trail debris from jamming the rotation — a detail that matters once winter riding starts. In SGS (long cage) form it takes 12-speed Hyperglide+ cassettes up to 51 teeth, for a 510% gear range: enough to climb a steep ramp fully loaded and still accelerate on the flat without gaps in the progression. It is explicitly approved for e-bikes and pedelecs with assistance up to 25 km/h, which many mountain bike derailleurs are not.

Shimano Deore CS-M6100, 10-51T

The transmission that opens all horizons. The Shimano Deore CS-M6100 cassette in 10-51T is the versatile reference for cyclists who want to cover as much ground as possible without ever being caught off guard. With an exceptionally wide development range - from the small chainring for the steepest climbs to the large one for full-speed descents - it adapts to all terrain profiles and all levels of practice. Designed for Shimano Deore 12-speed transmissions, it combines lightness, shifting precision and proven durability. The profiled teeth and optimized shift ramps guarantee smooth and quiet gear changes, even under load – a quality usually found on much higher-end groupsets.

Shimano BR-MT420, Hydr. Disc Brake (203/203)

Braking power where it actually matters: on a heavy, loaded bike, heading downhill. The Shimano BR-MT420 is a four-piston hydraulic disc brake caliper, fitted here with 203 mm rotors front and rear — the largest size in Shimano's mountain bike range. Four pistons instead of two means a larger pad surface and better-distributed pressure: around 20% more power than the two-piston version, and above all power that doesn't fade after three corners. On an electric mountain bike weighing 25 kg before the rider even gets on, that is not a luxury. The aluminium alloy body sheds heat, and the mineral oil circuit keeps a consistent bite point in the rain, in mud, or after a long descent. The D03S resin pads supplied as standard deliver progressive, quiet braking; they can be swapped for metallic D02S pads for greater heat resistance and better wet-weather performance — both share the same shape. The post-mount fitting is standard, so servicing can be done by any bike shop and spare parts are available everywhere.
