The Shimano CUES 2×10 groupset — featuring the U6020-10 rear derailleur, FC-U6030-2 crankset (34/50T) and an 11-39 cassette — gives you a wide range of gears to handle varied terrain. Paired with Shimano BR-U6030 hydraulic disc brakes and 160mm rotors front and rear, you get consistent, easily modulated stopping power regardless of conditions.

One of the Contend AR 2's standout details is the Giant D-Fuse composite seatpost with 14mm offset.
