Giant Contend AR 3

The Giant Contend AR 3 is an endurance road bike designed to keep you comfortable over long distances, whether you're commuting, weekend riding, or exploring mixed road surfaces. The ALUXX-Grade aluminium frame with a 12×142 mm thru-axle delivers a stiff, responsive ride platform, while the Advanced-Grade Composite fork with full-composite OverDrive steerer smooths out the vibrations that come from imperfect roads.

A standout feature for comfort is the Giant D-Fuse composite seatpost, which flexes slightly under load to absorb road buzz that the frame itself doesn't filter out. On cobblestones or chip-sealed roads, this makes a tangible difference after a couple of hours in the saddle.

The Shimano Sora 2×9 groupset with a Shimano CS-HG400 11-34 cassette and 34/50T chainrings gives you a broad gear range suitable for everything from flat fast roads to sustained climbs. Stopping power comes from Tektro MD-C550 mechanical disc brakes paired with Giant MPH 160 mm rotors at both ends — consistent and modulated even in wet conditions.

The Giant S-R2 Disc 700c wheelset is fitted with Giant S-R3 AC 700×32c tyres, tubeless-compatible up to 38 mm, allowing you to run lower pressures for better grip and fewer punctures on rougher roads. Available in S, M, ML, L and XL to suit a wide range of riders.
