The Giant Defy Advanced 0 is a road endurance bike built for riders who prioritise comfort over long distances without sacrificing performance. The Advanced-grade Composite frame uses an endurance geometry — a slightly more upright position compared to a pure race bike — to reduce strain on the back, neck and hands over several hours in the saddle. The D-Fuse composite seatpost, with its 14 mm offset, flexes subtly to dampen road vibration before it reaches your body.

Shifting is handled by the Shimano 105 Di2 electronic groupset. Unlike traditional cable-pulled derailleurs, Di2 uses a small electric motor to move the chain with pinpoint accuracy every time you press the lever — no matter how hard you're pedalling. The 12-speed 11-36 cassette provides a wide gear range suitable for climbing and flat terrain alike. Shimano 105 hydraulic brakes with 160 mm rotors on both wheels deliver progressive, powerful braking that doesn't fade in the rain.

The Giant SLR 2 40 Carbon Disc wheelset brings a 40 mm carbon rim profile that balances aerodynamic efficiency with all-round handling. Both wheels are tubeless-compatible out of the box, and the included Giant Gavia Fondo 0 tyres in 700x32c are tubeless-ready — meaning you can run them without an inner tube for fewer punctures and a smoother ride. The frame accepts tyres up to 40 mm wide, leaving room to go even wider if your riding calls for it.
