The Giant Defy Advanced E+ Elite 0 is an endurance electric road bike built for riders who want genuine distance capability without compromising on weight or ride feel. Giant's own Advanced carbon frame and Advanced SL full-composite fork bring the total weight to 12.3 kg — a benchmark that's genuinely hard to match in the electric road category.

Assistance comes from the Giant SyncDrive Move Plus, a rear hub motor producing 30 Nm of torque — the equivalent output of a 75 Nm mid-drive motor, according to Giant. It runs quietly and integrates into the bike's handling without altering the geometry or the road feel. The EnergyPak 400 Wh battery sits inside the down tube and powers five assistance levels as well as a Smart Assist mode that automatically adjusts support based on your effort. Changing modes is handled by the SRAM Bonus Buttons built into the brake hoods, so you never have to take your hands off the bars.

The wireless SRAM RED AXS 12-speed groupset delivers crisp, immediate gear changes, and the SRAM RED AXS HRD hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent, modulated stopping in all weather. The D-Fuse composite handlebar and seatpost use a D-shaped cross-section to flex vertically, damping road vibration over long rides. Giant's carbon tubeless-ready wheelset accepts tyres up to 38 mm wide, adding further versatility.

The Giant RideControl Go — a compact button integrated into the top tube with colour LED indicators — lets you check battery level and switch modes at a glance. ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity pairs the bike with your head unit or phone, and an always-on integrated rear light keeps you visible without any extra setup.
