Giant Defy Advanced E+ Elite 2

The Giant Defy Advanced E+ Elite 2 is an endurance road e-bike built for comfort over distance. Its Giant SyncDrive Move Plus motor sits in the rear hub, weighing just 1.7 kg and staying virtually invisible from the side. Five assistance levels — including Smart Assist, which reads your speed, gradient and pedal effort to modulate support automatically — make it easy to find the right level of help without fiddling with settings mid-ride.

The Giant EnergyPak 400 Wh battery integrates cleanly into the down tube, housed in an aluminium casing that meets the EN50604 safety standard and is produced with a CO₂-neutral process. If you want more range, the bike is compatible with the EnergyPak Plus 200 range extender (sold separately), bringing total capacity to 600 Wh. Charging is handled by the included Giant Smart Charger 4A.

The SRAM Rival AXS 12-speed wireless groupset eliminates derailleur cables entirely. Shifts are triggered electronically via the lever hoods or the Blips mounted on the bar — accurate and effortless whatever hand position you're in. SRAM Rival AXS HRD hydraulic disc brakes with Paceline 160 mm rotors deliver consistent, progressive stopping power. The Giant P-R2 Tubeless Ready wheelset accepts tyres up to 38 mm wide, offering a reassuring contact patch and the option to run tubeless.

The Advanced-grade Composite frame and fork keep weight in check while the D-Fuse handlebar and seatpost flex vertically to absorb road buzz — a meaningful benefit on long days in the saddle. The Giant RideControl GO controller, integrated into the top tube, lets you switch modes with a single press. Available in five sizes from S to XL.
