Description
The Giant Reign Advanced 2 is a full-suspension enduro mountain bike built around an Advanced-grade carbon frame — both front triangle and rear end. That means real weight savings and stiffness where it counts, without sacrificing trail feel. The Maestro rear suspension system delivers 160 mm of travel, staying active and efficient while pedalling uphill, then opening up fully when the trail points down.
Up front, the Fox 38 Rhythm fork (170 mm travel, GRIP damper, 15×110 mm Kabolt X axle) has been specifically tuned by Giant's engineers to match the frame's geometry and suspension character. Paired with the Fox Float Performance rear shock (205×62.5 mm, also custom tuned), the two ends of the bike work in sync rather than fighting each other. The 3-position flip chip adjusts the head angle between 63.5° and 64.2°, letting you dial in a slacker setup for aggressive descents or a slightly steeper position for more technical climbing.
The Shimano SLX 1×12 drivetrain — RD-M7100 derailleur, SL-M7100 shifter, and Deore M6100 10-51T cassette — gives you a broad gear range without the complexity of a front derailleur. Stopping power comes from Shimano BR-MT520 four-piston hydraulic brakes, which offer strong, modulated braking even on long descents. The Giant AM 29 wheels (30 mm internal width, Tubeless Ready) come fitted with a Maxxis Assegai 29×2.5 WT 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ at the front and a Minion DHR II 29×2.4 WT 3C MaxxTerra DD at the rear — a well-proven enduro tyre combination.
Available in S, M, L and XL, the Reign Advanced 2 also features integrated downtube storage and is mullet-compatible (27.5" rear wheel) via the Maestro flip chip, for riders who want a more playful rear end on technical terrain.
