The Giant Revolt 2 is a gravel bike built for riders who want to explore beyond paved roads without giving up road-going efficiency. The ALUXX-Grade aluminium frame (6061 alloy, single-butted tubing) keeps the bike lively and responsive, while the Advanced-Grade composite fork takes the edge off rough surfaces — a combination that works well for mixed terrain and longer rides alike.
One of the Revolt 2's most practical features is its flip chip dropout: move the chip to the long position and the bike accepts tyres up to 53 mm wide for maximum grip on gravel and dirt; switch to the short position for 45 mm clearance and a slightly more road-biased handling feel. The stock Giant CrossCut AT 2 tyres in 700x38c are tubeless-ready, meaning you can run them without inner tubes if you prefer — reducing the risk of punctures and allowing lower pressures for better comfort.
The Shimano Sora 2x9 groupset paired with an FSA Vero Pro crankset (32/48t) and a Shimano HG400 cassette (11-34t) covers a wide gear range: low enough to grind up steep climbs with luggage, high enough for a decent pace on the flat. Stopping power comes from Tektro MD-C550 mechanical disc brakes with 160 mm rotors front and rear — reliable in wet or muddy conditions where rim brakes typically struggle.
The Giant D-Fuse seatpost (14 mm offset) adds a degree of vertical compliance to smooth out bumpy trails. The Revolt 2 comes in Asphalt Green and is available in five sizes (S, M, ML, L, XL), each with a size-matched handlebar and stem for a proper fit out of the box.
