The Giant TCR Advanced 1 is a road bike built around one idea: turning effort into speed as efficiently as possible. The Advanced-Grade Composite carbon frame and matching fork are engineered for stiffness and responsiveness, while 12mm thru-axles front and rear sharpen steering precision and improve disc brake performance.
Shifting duties are handled by Shimano 105 Di2, Giant's 12-speed electronic groupset of choice at this level. Electronic actuation means gear changes are instant and accurate — no cable stretch, no manual adjustments over time. The 34/50 chainrings paired with an 11-34 cassette give you the range to tackle long climbs and still accelerate on the flat.
Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors deliver consistent, modulated stopping power whether it's dry or wet. The Giant Gavia Course 1 tubeless tyres in 700x28c run at lower pressure than clinchers, smoothing out road vibration and reducing the risk of punctures.
