Key features
- Full carbon frame front and rear — light, stiff, and built to last on demanding trails

Description
The Giant Trance Advanced 29 2 is a full-suspension trail mountain bike built for riders who want one bike to do it all — long cross-country days, technical descents, and everything in between. The Advanced-grade carbon frame, both front and rear, keeps weight down while maintaining the stiffness you need for precise handling. At the back, Giant's Maestro suspension system delivers 120mm of travel, keeping the rear wheel tracking the ground through roots, rocks, and drops.
Up front, the Fox 34 Float Rhythm fork with 130mm of travel and a GRIP damper is tuned specifically by Giant for this bike — not a generic setup. Paired with the Fox Float Performance rear shock, also custom-tuned, the result is a suspension package that feels balanced and predictable rather than soft or harsh. The 29-inch wheels roll over trail obstacles with ease, which adds up to noticeably less fatigue on longer rides.
The Shimano SLX 12-speed drivetrain — RD-M7100 derailleur, SL-M7100 shifter, 10-51t cassette — gives you the gearing range to climb anything and the reliability to keep working ride after ride. Shimano Deore BR-M6120 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors on both ends provide strong, linear braking whether the trail is dry or wet. The TranzX dropper post is included as standard equipment, so you're ready to descend properly right out of the box.
The integrated flip chip on the Maestro suspension lets you adjust the head tube angle between 65.5° (low, more aggressive geometry) and 66.2° (high, more upright and versatile). It's a small change that meaningfully affects how the bike corners and handles steep terrain. Available in sizes S, M, L, and XL to fit a wide range of riders.
