Giant Trance Advanced Pro 29 2

The Giant Trance Advanced Pro 29 2 is a capable trail bike built for riders who want to push into more technical terrain without losing climbing efficiency. The Advanced-Grade Composite frame — carbon front and rear — uses Giant's Maestro suspension with 120 mm of rear travel. The four-pivot design actively separates pedalling forces from suspension movement, keeping the rear wheel planted through corners and rough sections alike.

A flip chip on the upper rocker link allows you to fine-tune the geometry without swapping any parts. Flipping it changes the head tube angle, seat tube angle and bottom bracket height, effectively giving you two bikes in one — a snappier, more upright setup for XC-style riding, or a slacker, lower stance for more committed descents. All four sizes (S, M, L, XL) support both positions.

The Shimano SLX 1x12 groupset (RD-M7100 derailleur, SL-M7100 shifter, 10-51t cassette, KMC X-12 chain) handles a wide range of gradients with reliable, precise shifts. Rolling on Giant TRX 2 Carbon 29 wheels (30 mm inner width), the bike is fitted with Maxxis tubeless-ready tyres: a Minion DHF 29×2.5 WT up front for confident cornering grip and an Aggressor 29×2.5 at the rear for durability under braking. The 780 mm Contact SL TR35 handlebar and TranzX dropper post round out a cockpit that's ready for all-day rides on demanding trails.

Both the Fox 34 Float Rhythm fork (130 mm, GRIP damper, 15×110 Boost) and the Fox Float DPS Performance shock (185/50) are custom-tuned by Giant specifically for the Trance frame — ensuring the suspension works as a system rather than an assembly of off-the-shelf parts.
