Description
The Merida eTMO 500 PRO is a full-suspension electric mountain bike aimed at trail and all-mountain riding. Its ETMO LITE aluminium frame houses 142 mm of rear suspension travel and a fully integrated Bosch PowerTube 600 Wh battery, keeping the centre of gravity low and the lines clean. The Bosch Performance Line CX motor produces 100 Nm of torque — enough to make steep technical climbs feel manageable while preserving a natural pedalling feel.
The Mullet (MX) wheel configuration — 29" front, 27.5" rear — is a deliberate choice. The larger front wheel rolls over roots and rocks with ease and holds a line, while the smaller rear wheel keeps the bike agile and responsive in tight turns. Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.5" (front) and Maxxis Dissector 27.5x2.4" (rear) tyres, both tubeless ready, provide solid grip on loose terrain, mud and roots.
A Shimano CUES U6000 10-speed drivetrain covers the range needed for electric mountain biking, and the SRAM DB4 Stealth 4-piston hydraulic brakes with 200 mm rotors deliver the stopping power you need when the trail pitches downward. The SR Suntour Zeron 36X air fork (140 mm travel) is tunable to rider weight for a consistent feel across different conditions.
Available in four sizes (S to XL) with a size-specific integrated dropper post (150 to 230 mm of drop), the eTMO 500 PRO fits a wide range of riders. The frame comes with a lifetime warranty under category 4 All Mountain / Enduro — a solid indicator of Merida's confidence in the build quality.
